a little bit about me…

I grew up in the small town of Belding, MI and got my first guitar when I was 10. I took my first guitar lesson at 13 when guitar class was offered through my school.

Since then, my background has had a combination of group lessons, private lessons, and self-teaching. Music is my greatest passion, and I try to take advantage of the opportunities I’ve been blessed to have in front of me, whatever they may be.

a little bit about the music I play…

Because I am a solo musician, I have a lot of freedom to span across a wide variety of genres. Candidly, my heart is with 70s and my sets tend to have their fair share of Eagles and Fleetwood Mac songs. However, I do my best include music from many different genres and decades, in the hopes that everyone in the audience will be able to hear at least a few songs they enjoy.

a little bit about my style…

I would describe my “vibe” as acoustic/folk, however, I find that, that style has a lot of freedom to move across a lot of different music. I really enjoy finding ways to use and apply my style to songs that maybe weren’t necessarily originally recorded that way. After all, there is a lot of creative freedom that comes with a guitar.
